I'd say so, surprised they had Cavs vs Wizards game in the opener but not the Nets vs Knicks game.

If you are a true die hard, then today is celebratory... Its the NBA regular season which we've been waiting on for months.. For Die Hards' the season opener is just shy of orgasmic..

season opener is definitely worth watching since they normally match up the best teams in the league against each other. I personally love watching every Laker game even during the regular season.. Kings/Warriors games however are a different matter.

Yes And we got a STELLAR opening with the Heat vs Celtics AND Lakers vs Mavericks (depleted team here tho).

Is Irving starting or not ? Might be really cool if he is.

Just like NFL's first game, I ready for NBA to come back. My team is playing tonight so I'm even more excited. Now comes those days when I'll have to bite my nails figuring out whether I should watch basketball or football.

Only thing that irks me are the Mavs playing. Should have been OKC vs Lakers imo. Maybe even Clippers vs Lakers.

This is probably the most exciting season opener in years. No more Lebron ringless jokes . That shit was getting really old. So many faces in new places. Yeah, this season opener is that exciting.

No way. Last season opener >>>>>> This season opener

Why ?

It's simple. Two words: lockout,Christmas.

We were so happy to have NBA basketball back and it was on Christmas. Also the Knicks opened the season at MSG against the Celtics so that was one more reason to be excited.

I'm excited about this season's opener too but I must admit that I was much more excited last year.

Agreed. I don't think anything can top a season opener on Christmas after a 2 month delay.
