It's certainly way better than the buyout...
This deal is a no-brainer for the Celtics if they're really trying to rebuild.

Send KG to the Clippers for Jordan, immediately send TPE and a couple picks for Jefferson, leaves us:

Rondo/Williams
Bradley/Terry
Green/#16 (Shabazz?)
Jefferson/Bass
Jordan/Sully

Weak guard rotation, but otherwise pretty damn good rebuild.

OR we could draft Dieng or Olynk or someone and trade KG for a SG.

What happen to loyalty? Sends him to a lottery team if it's an actual deal. Where's the respect? Guess Ray was smart and bolted.

that would be a steal for us in my opinion.

but, as i would rather have pierce for one year than marion... i'd also like to have the 13 pick.

you can have gee, marion, piece and then take sergio (a small forward) with the 13th, which is who we want.

to much small forward depth. unless you just want to great mentoring for two young small forwards.

i say f*ck it and do both trades.

Cavs are a playoff team with Pierce.

Hope he buys into what we want here. For 15 mill, he'd have no choice I guess.

The trade exception might make it worth it for Boston.

Irving, Noel, and Pierce would be really interesting to watch.
