Of course I played video games but most of my time was spent outside. I loved the outdoors as a kid and loved sports.

Played games only at night and that wasn't for long but I was never into pokemon like that.

I had a power rangers game but that was on sega I think.

Maybe I was older when pokemon came out. It just always looked lame to me

Pretty horrible list. I agree with the Top 2 being Charizard and Pikachu and Mewtwo deserves a spot in the Top 10 but other than that it was garbage.

Jigglypuff? and what the hell was #5?

Word.

The concept was fukking Cash. You a poor little boy with lotsa hopes and dreams and very little XP.

Get yourself a widdle buddy who will grow stronger and wiser with you.

Go out into the scawy widdle fields and get yourself another buddy. if you dare.

Then build yourself into a master.

Real life parallels all around indeed.

Translation = you were the kid standing by himself like a fcking loser during recess when everybody was playing with pokemon/marbles or whatever fads there was when you were a kid. Pretty sure for alot of kids Pokemon was a school yard activity.. atleast in my area.

Fads were made for small children. School = your biggest social life. All it takes is one kid to show up with a pack at recess than everybody is rocking out ... ignore this if you had parents that couldn't afford to pick you up Pokemon cards.

Pokemon was kinda weak tho, I didn't "play" with them. Just tried to trade for the coolest card.

Shiiiiit. I'm from a smaller town so maybe it was different. Pokemon faze for me was the trading cards and the games for the gameboy, besides that I got nothing. It was always at recess too.

My apologies Kendall, perhaps you weren't the fkcing loser standing around by yourself

You guys are straight lames.

Where I grew up we didn't care about card games and pokemon. They only cards we played was tump and spades.

At p.e we would be playing kickball, football, baseball, basketball, and other activities. Not huddled up playing with pokemons.

Then after school it was cutting grass and then going to play more sports with the kids around the way.

Why would I want to be in the house when I could be outside having fun. If you liked pokemon that's cool but I always thought it was lame and never liked it.

I had better things to do. If you sat in the house as a youth I feel sorry for you, you really missed out on a lot of things

I did actually.

I don't even know why...but it was so easy to beat the gym leaders in the beginning though...

I collected Pokemon cards and played the video games, up to Gold and Silver. I never played the card game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! on the other hand was very fun to play/duel.
