Great run by Dirk, one of the best ever offensively, but not comparable to Duncan/Hakeem.

Dirk was damn good on defense in the postseason.

Not even then as no form of Chandler matches the defense of a peak Hakeem or a peak Duncan. And Dirk was surrounded by savvy veterans while Duncan - rookie Manu and 2nd year TP and SJax.

No it isn't. Hakeem and Duncan actually dominated on both ends of the floor, Dirk Nowitzki only dominated offensively. End of discussion.

Dirk's overall playoff run as a whole was all time great stuff, but people are revising his finals performance. He wasn't that great in the finals. Good, but nothing special.

This. Before the finals I would have said Dirk's run was on par with Duncan and Hakeem. Although Duncan and Hakeem dominated defensively and on the glass as well...Dirk made up some of that ground for his insanely clutch play (easily the best and its not even close of the post MJ generation).

But Dirk didn't dominate the finals. He played well and was super clutch at times, but he wasn't great. He had a terrible first half in game 6 and while he played through the flu...he wasn't very good in that game either.

Duncan and Hakeem had better runs. Dirk's was definitely all time great though given his circumstances, overall play, and his ability to pull through time and time again in pressure situations.
