I'm going to go ahead and put in my prediction for the Magic to win the title, in either 5 or 6. Last year the Lakers lost to the top ranked defense and this year they are facing the top ranked defense again.

Am I the only one who thinks the 08 Lakers are better than the 09 Lakers?

Because they were the better team. Sasha VujaCHICK contributed heavily off the bench. Fisher was a year younger, a year hungrier, and was hitting his 3 ball. Gasol played better last year. They seemed to have better team focus and continuity. This year they're playing not to lose, as opposed to playing to win. They lost simply cause they faced one of the greatest NBA championship teams of all-time.

09 Lakers looked pretty good in game one. There is still a long way to go, so can't make any cement predictions - but this team looks every bit as good if not more than last years team.

Last years' Laker team was soft, and we didn't have solid defenders in Ariza and Bynum. Vujacic and Fisher was a little better last year, though.
