Kobe+Odom+Gibson+Z won't be beating Mavs, Suns, Spurs, or even the Jazz.

Get real. They will "seemingly" be better because they moved East, when in reality, that lineup would be about the same as the Lakers right now. Gibson is a upgrade over Smush thats it. Z ist he most overrated, "stast make him look better than he is" guy.

Any team in the East that Kobe goes to will be a factor next season. It would add some more major spice to the playoffs.

Screw the Lakers. I want him in the East.

i doubt they'd want marburys contract.
I was thinking Crawford, Rose, Frye and robinson/collins/lee + picks.

All of the trade scenarios I have read include Marbury. They have to make the salaries match so including Marbury is a must.

Kobe just wants attention.

He saw the attention LeBron was getting and got jealous, cause he knows he's the old thing, and the young guys who win are the new things.

He's just trying to keep his name out there.

Kobe accepts because he:

It's good for LA because they get a guy who is only 1 or 2 steps behind Kobe, and they get a 5th pick if they decide to go the route of rebuilding.
ryant's great and all but comes with too much baggage to make the deal worthwhile. One thing that Bryant is doing that Pierce has not: *****. He wants West, he wants a trade, he wants Ron Artest, blah-blah-blah....while Pierce, who has stuck through far more losing than Bryant had to put up with in LA, consistently shoes his loyalty to the Cs. Bryant doesn't do that much more for the Cs anyway when Pierce is healthy and the Celtics would have to give up the 5th pick, which will give them the chance to draft a good starter, maybe even an All-Star. Not a good deal for the Cs.

Cause Pierce isn't really interested in winning. He's getting a paycheck, who cares if he's losing. He don't.

Kobe wants attention so he demands this stuff, Pierce doesn't give a **** cause he's getting a paycheck.

Both these dudes are franchise killers who only want their own glory.

Dr. Buss has said that he is going to resolve this situation no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Bucher was sayin that it's pointless and that the Lakers should just trade Kobe but he also said that the Doc is taking Jim out of the Front Office and is taking full control of things again.

The Bulls are my 3rd favorite team behind LA and Detroit, so I wouldnt be mad at all to see him traded there. I'd want Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, the #9 pick, Duhon, and PJ Brown in return though.

I'm sure LA would only trade him east, and Phx isnt exactly on my favorite teams list, but just the thought of seeing what a Nash/Kobe/Amare duo would do is fascninating. I tried it out on nba live and beat every team by at least 30.

If the Lakers trade Kobe to the Bulls, they'll ask for 2 of either Hinrick/Gorden/Deng.
