Nov. 18 is now the date for oral arguments in the DC Circuit Court of Appeals over DOJ's bid for an emergency motion to stay a decision requiring it to turn over the Mueller grand jury materials to House Dems.
President Donald Trump discussed upcoming WikiLeaks document dumps with his former longtime advisor Roger Stone, according to former Trump 2016 campaign deputy Rick Gates.
Trump nemesis George Conway, who formerly led the conservative Federalist Society while at Yale Law, and who is married to White House advisor Kellyanne Conway, was a bit more brief in his estimation of Gates’s testimony.
because she's a **** who's trying to cause his demise along with every other member of this charade
What did she do to cause his demise as Ambassador to Ukraine prior to her being recalled? What had she done when he disparaged her on his phone call with Zelensky. For what purpose was he smearing her and disparaging her reputation?
Is Trump's memory going? He doesn't recall much for someone who has the best brain and a great memory.
One of the prosecution's final witnesses in the Stone case was Rick Gates, who testified that he witnessed a specific phone in which Stone told Trump personally what was coming from WikiLeaks:
Prosecutor: “After Mr. Trump got off the phone with Mr. Stone, what did Mr. Trump say?”
Gates: “He indicated more information would be coming [from WikiLeaks]”
This phone call contradicts Trump's answer on the Take Home Test that Mueller allowed him to take in lieu of an interview:
Response to Question II, Part (g): I spoke by telephone with Roger Stone from time to time during the campaign. I have no recollection of the specifics of any conversations I had with Mr. Stone between June 1, 2016 and November 8, 2016. I do not recall discussing WikiLeaks with him, nor do I recall being aware of Mr. Stone having discussed WikiLeaks with individuals associated with my campaign, although I was aware that WikiLeaks was the subject of media reporting and campaign-related discussion at the time.
