We have people on here that acutualy believe all the mechanics in that shot are not difficult. Their justification:

-But it was Ray Allen, heís done that before many times!
-But the guy running at him with his hands up doesnít matter, he could still see the basket! Just like being wide open!
-Thereís 6 seconds left!

Meanwhile Lebron wide open with his arms up and Bosh not interested in giving him the ball to go 0/6 in finals game winning/tying shots.

Ray Allen coming up BIG TIME saving Lebronís career.

LeBron basically assisted Ray Allen for that shot missed deliberately which caused the defense to collapse for a wide open Ray Allen 3

Naw, if he was good enough Bosh would have awarded him because he was wide open after he bricked the shot. Bosh knew better.

The most iconic shot and the greatest shot was MJ's "last shot"

The coldest shot or under most pressure was Ray Allen's 3

all others are a level below to me.

op should have just made his one millionth lebron thread instead of this abomination.

Mj's shot was a storybook ending, it couldn't have been scripted better as an ending to a career. I actually hated the fact he came back with the Wiz because this should have been his last image on a basketball court.

Kyrie made a thrilling all time great shot but lets not forget there was a mintue of basketball to be played still and 5 more possesions in the game 2 shots by the cavs and 3 by the warriors. So even in that sense its alot of basketball to be considered a game winner. nevertheless one of my favorite finals shots ever cause of the result and the entertainment factor.

Ray's shot was cold blooded as they come because it was an elimination game but again there was still an entire ot period and an entire game 7 where the guy you mostly made this thread for scored 37. not to mention the great comeback lebron spearheaded to make the shot even possible. context right?

Ray Allen could've gotten 0 points and 2 techs in game 7 but it won't change a fact that he saved Lebron's ass in game 6

In the finals, MJ vs Jazz 1998, followed by MJ vs Jazz 1997, and then Ray Allen in 2013 and Kyrie in 2016.

I dont see how anyone can deny Ray Allen's shot was the most clutch in NBA history.

1. If he misses, the series and season is over.
2. It had to be a three to TIE, not to win so he doesnt even get the glory of a game winner.
3. When he catches he has to retreat to the three point line and does so without looking at the ground. The fact he knows exactly where he is and where has to get to is clutch in itself.
4. Absolutely in the middle of the hoop.

Its as clutch as it gets. Kyrie's, as great as it was, was when the game was tied with plenty of time to go. If he had missed it would never have been mentioned again.

But the most iconic is obv MJ's in Utah. Three clutch plays. Quick score that bought the Bulls time and put pressure on Utah. Great defensive play to get the steal. Holds and gives the Bulls time to foul/offensive rebound if he had missed. Then poses on the shot. And it was an away game. It wont be beaten.
