Editor's Note: We apologize for the error, but we've since learned there are two Christine Fords working in clinical psychology in California and we wrote this report about the wrong Christine Ford. We regret not going to greater lengths to ensure this was indeed the same Christine Ford. Please do not share this article with anyone (and if you have, delete it/withdraw it); we are only leaving the page up so you can see this important update.

Honest mistake. The fact that they both work in clinical psychology made it easy to believe too. That being said, your side would be the first declaring it "Fake news!" if the roles were reversed

30 years later...and the guy has been on radar for awhile now going through all the courts as judges.

The accuser is saying she didn’t even remember that it happened until decades later when the memory came back while in therapy. She also doesn’t matter exactly what party this took place at.

So you think she's been tracking his career his entire life? Have you heard of him before he got nominated?

Wait, her story goes back to 2012? That changes things if true. GOP can no longer say it came out of nowhere if in fact she told her shrink about it all the way back in 2012.

Why is anyone surprised by Trumpeters focusing their attacks on the woman without even hearing what she has to say? Their guy Trump is known for sexual assaults, admitting to groping women without their permission and walking in on teenage girl pageants' dressing rooms. Trumpeters have been defending Trump on those accounts so why should it be any different here?

I'm withholding judgment until I hear from the horse's mouth as the saying goes. Hell, give her a lie detection test. I need to hear what she has to say. If she is telling the truth, then we have to hear it...

Funny you should say that....

In fact, in 2012, she discussed the attack during therapy with her husband. Therapist’s notes describe the named attacker as a student “from an elitist boys’ school,” and the attack as an attempted rape.

Ford took a polygraph test in early August, then decided to remain anonymous, despite the results affirming her honesty. However, her identity leaked, and reporters tried to question her. She decided she would come forward on her own terms.

Her husband confirms her story, saying he recalls her mentioning Kavanaugh by name. According to Heavy, the all-girls school that Ford attended was only about 7 miles from the all-boys school Kavanaugh attended, belying claims that his attendance at a gender-segregated school is a defense against the accusation.

Yes, it allegedly goes back to 2012, but Kavanaugh himself wasn’t named as the attacker.

I don't expect Trump to back down and change his nomination. I think Kavanaugh will still get nominated in the end because Senate does the hearings, and they have the majority. GOP's senate majority is so large that it is unlikely to be under threat for them in this mid-term. They will take a huge hit publicly for sure, but they know it's unlikely they will lose the senate.

In the long run, I bet the Republicans are regretting Trump being in the White house. Politically, you can't side with him, and you can't side against him. Huge turnouts are also expected these mid-terms -- greater turnouts than in years, maybe decades because of Trump being the accident he has been. Big turnouts spell trouble for GOP. This situation will do nothing but exacerbate the issue.

Dude, their majority is 51-49. That’s literally the smallest possible majority.

35 senate seats are up for election. Democrats have to win 28 of them to gain majority. Does anyone really expect that? I don't.

Democrats will surely get the House, but Senate seems unlikely. I guess I can't say impossible. Nothing is impossible but 'unlikely' is reasonable..

Well, the senate map is bad for Dems but the same was true for Republicans in 2016 and they kept a majority. Not only was everyone predicting that Trump would lose but they were also predicting Republicans losing the house and senate too.
