It goes hand in hand with the two year implementation of the new cap rules.

They did add the stretch provision to waived players which can be used at anytime, on any player and more than once. That's here to stay and though not as encompassing as the amnesty clause it does make swallowing the costs of waived players more bearable. Moot discussion tonight anyways. Amnesty window has closed for this year.

The amnesty period BEGINS tomorrow

There is a whole ton of misinformation on the internet with the 2005 amnesty period being referred to instead of the current CBA rules.....very very easy for someone to get confused.

I really like Anthony Tolliver from Minny. It would be more of a FA signing rather than a trade

He's a stretch 4 with 3 pt range. Would help create that space needed. He isn't getting much attention from Minny, but Im sure if we come calling Minny would ask for Pau for Tolliver straight up . He will command no more than the min IMO

I'd rather keep Pau around then to have Iguodala. IMO Pau & Artest are better to have on the team than Iggy.

I agree that I would rather have Pau than Iggy overall, but if Pau to Philly gets us Iggy and Dwight because Philly sends a 1st rounder to Orlando then I am all for it.

The reason I suggested amnestying MWP, was that the proposed trade had us taking back more salary than was going out. No way the front office does that and not cut costs elsewhere.

Although now there are rumors that Houston may take Bynum and send the Magic the expiring contracts and picks they want. If we can essentially move Bynum for Dwight straight up then I do that in a heart beat.

Hey let's do our GM Kobe a favor and start the 38 & up signings with Nash, Fish and might as well throw in Grant Hill in quest for our player/gm kobe's 6th ring!
