Default Bulls survive Game 5, stay alive vs Sixers

Chicago Tribune:

Nothing was easy for the 76ers on Tuesday night.

Early in the fourth quarter, guard Jrue Holiday dribbled in circles with a harassing Ronnie Brewer in his face. Brewer's legs were moving 100 mph, his arms flailing in every direction. Holiday still had enough of a burst to get to the basket, but his routine layup kicked off the rim with Brewer still stuck to him.

A few plays later, Andre Iguodala made a quick move around a screen and lifted for a jump shot. But Bulls big man Omer Asik rotated to the top of the key and stuffed the ball.

Coach Doug Collins knew his team needed to shoot better to keep pace with an inspired Bulls team. Instead, the 76ers shot even worse than the previous two games in a 77-69 loss. And the Bulls defense had a lot to do with it.
