Default Kobe and Jim Buss

I love how someone actually thought that Kobe and Jim Buss do not get along, and that he wouldn't be surprised if Jim Buss shipped Kobe out of town sometime in the future.

I think Kobe is going to be a Laker for life and I'm pretty sure he's not going to hang them up after two years.

"We have a good relationship," Bryant told the "Mason & Ireland Show" on 710 ESPN on Thursday when asked about Jim Buss. "People misunderstand that relationship. We have a good time. We've had dinner together and things like that. He's a great guy and he wants to do the right thing and he wants to help us win a championship. The biggest thing, which was the same with his father, who he has learned from, is that he's not going to make rushed decisions. He's going to be patient and he's going to take his time.

He did it to Fisher, he can do it to Kobe too can't he? Had it not been for Kobe clause, he might do it on the last year to get many players back.

I still don't buy what he said...wait until Kobe contract reaches its end...you'll see where he stands. Word is cheap. 2 year later, if Kobe won't work for less but still want to play then what? Will he still keep paying aging Kobe at a high price?

He said he traded Fisher so Fisher can have more playing time...ok...really...how much more while starting on the new team bench? Words are cheap. Furthermore, why trade Hill here and not play him at all?

Fisher and Kobe are not relatively close as far as caliber goes.

If Kobe maintains his level of play 2 years from now, I don't see why he wouldn't pay him. If he said that about Fisher, its obviously a PC answer. Fisher is getting a lot of playing time in OKC btw, which bodes well for the Lakers .

Hill being in the trade didn't mean he was going to make the rotation. Barring he reaches his potential, the Lakers will probably cut him after this season as they hold a team option.

Fisher and Kobe are 2 different animal. first & foremost : Kobe is a superstar while fish is a good role player.

Kobe puts the people in the pricy seats & also all the other mechandise...etc..etc...Kobe's contract doesnt even justify his real worth

there would be riots in LA if Jim Buss traded or amenitsed Kobe

LMAO at buss saying he never thought to trade kobe, how can he trade him if kobe got no trade clause? he can't and he know that.

Its not like buss got the power here, even if he tries to make a trade he need kobe to accept it.
