She's representing a company and posted this stupidity on twitter. It's up to the company's discretion if they want to fire her and yes she should be fired for being stupid enough to post this on twitter.

The I'm white was the cherry on the top of her sundae of ignorance and privileged insensitivity. It was also a WTF moment for me, because who thinks like that? White People don't get AIDS? That's news to me. It doesn't even make sense.

Given that she was visiting her family in Africa and not just some idiot tourist, she should have known better. It's like saying, I'm going to Africa, I hope I don't get eaten by a lion.

I think maybe in PR you have to be so concerned about what you say, it was just like an urge she had repressed for so long that it just came out. Like she felt she was already on vacation and not at work.
