Default I got offered the best job in the world

I just got asked to be a brand ambassador for a craft beer company

- Free beer within budget
- travel to all the beer festivals all over the world with company
- paid travel
- promote and pour beers at venues
- $23 an hour

Best part time job in the world and it's flexible. I only have to do 6 events a month. I can easily work this around my current job. This summer is gonna be fun!!

I'm looking forward to a job change myself. Been working on my resume, coverletter and portfolio for a number of months now. I hate my current job (the environment mostly, not so much the work itself).

I can't wait to bounce.

Better know your shit. These guys that attend these beer venues do NOT fvck around. Be prepared to know the answers to these key questions:

1. “How is your beer connected to the local area?”
2. “What’s unique about your beer? Why is it relevant?”
3. “What efforts do you make to be environmentally friendly?”
4. "What's the difference between an IPA and a pale ale? (This one comes up more often than you think.)
5. "If there were a beer that you could brew with no regards to cost or production or sales, what would it be and why?"

As long as you know and study the general Q&A, this should be an easy gig.

This isn't a career change for me. This is just a means of acquiring an extra skillset. I'd recommend having many skills under you belt. The right career will follow.

I've worked in the hospitality industry for years as both a bartender and a bouncer/doormen. I could answer all those pretty easily. I got the offer from a beer rep I recently met who sat at my bar. I've been to a ton of these events and festivals that I could navigate pretty easy. I fit their profile and it was an easy decision on both sides.

I earn my income as a business broker. I work maybe 20 hrs tops a week and still pull 6 figures. I occasionally work behind the bar or manage the door when my friends in the industry need extra help. I do it for shits and giggles and to hang out if I got nothing else to do.
Now I got a gig that gives me free beer, travel for free AND get paid $20+/hr which takes up little of my spare time? Yeah, I guess you can roll your eyes at me.

LOL, they have the best beers in the world there. I'm sure they wouldn't invite a small craft brew to participate in the biggest beer event in the world. But it would be dope to hit up.
