Default Official petition to have Mark Jackson taken off the air.

"Momma, there goes my microphone..."

Something needs to be done. I am so sick of listening to this real life Ron Burgandy, from his overall terrible analysis to his crappy little catchphrases. I now watch games with the volume turned down and music playing because he irritates me that much and I feel dumber having listened to him.

NBA/ESPN: Take away this man off the air!

By the hammer of Thor, it's an insult to Ron Burgandy to have his name in the same sentence as Jackson's. Ron is a legend, as well as being entertaining and funny, something Jackson can only dream about. If you continue in this manner, I might have to introduce you to Jack Johnson and Tom O'Leary.

I'm sorry but where's the petition?

And to think some NY fans wanted him to be the head coach.

Mike terico is annoying with his Lebron stanisms but Mark Jackson take the cake for his constant KObe slobbing. Ever since I heard him last year say that KObe is better than Jordan I haven't been able to stomach him

I guess I'll just e-mail the link for this thread to ESPN. That's kind of like a petition, right?

it's ESPN what do you expect, they put Kornheiser in the MNF booth for crisesakes. and while I agree that Jackson licks balls as an announcer, at least he did play the game.

I defintley want him off the air. Saying Kobe was as good or better than Jordan was bad enough, but when he said that Paul Pierce is as good or better than Larry Bird, I thought the only explanation was that Mark had been lobotomized. ESPN/ABC's NBA coverage is bad enough but Mark makes it even worse, although I didn't think that was possible prior to him joining ESPN/ABC.

Posting a petition on ISH is one thing, we need to email ABC, ESPN AND the NBA.

Whenever a game (usually Lakers) comes on ESPN or ABC and I see Mark Jackson sitting there with Van Gundy I literally want to change the channel. MARK JACKSON SUCKS AND HE'S AN IDIOT!

Mark Jackson's classic statements and NBA fans put him on blast:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhuC1J6kDqQ

Me calling out Mark Jackson again a couple of months ago:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N65tPaLYVrE

Mark Jackson's "kids" showed him my videos talking about his stupidity:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofbYEFJFtmw

Mark Jackson hates on Larry Bird AND Kevin McHale:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPN-59dJ5Ac

I've been calling out Mark Jackson for YEARS!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKleIQo2dmI

Mark Jackson is terrible. He's the worst analyst in pro sports right now. I would rather watch a game with no announcing, just listening to the sounds of the game, than listen to this moron commentate.

Mark Jackson: LEAVE THE BOOTH, PUT THE MIC DOWN, GET THE **** OUT OF THE NBA! GO APPLY TO BE AN L.A. LAKERS CHEERLEADER YOU CLOWN!

Well at least Mark Jackson thinks the game needs to move on & he actually wants to appreciate the young players today instead of those who always find fault & overanalyze(to unprecedented levels) them. Kobe & Pierce are 'better' & if anyone doesn't think so let the 'has beens' suit up .

I agree with & love Rick Pitino's sentiment: "Larry Bird's not waliking through those doors fans.........." & the faster fans accept this the better the game will be.

And the quicker the fans let it go of the past the better.

Mark Jackson just doesn't bring anything to the table when he announces. All he really says are his catch phrases, he doesn't say anything interesting or enlightening. Even if I don't agree with a lot of what JVG says, he still makes the games more interesting to watch. Mark Jackson just sits there and does nothing.

Mark isn't letting go of the past because he's always comparing the current players to past players. But that's besides the point. Anyone who thinks that Pierce is anywhere near the level Bird was or Kobe is anywhere near Jordan's level is a f*cking moron who should NOT be paid to analyze basketball. That's obvious.
