I like the fact that he is a good shooter but he needs to do other things to get time on the court. I like how D'Antoni essentially said that those who produce will play. Right now, Fields, Will, STAT, Felton, Rony and TD are getting it done it some form or fashion. We need someone to step up to pull the double and triple teams away from STAT.
That's why Gallo starts the game. To score and keep an honest defense on Amar'e.
But if he isn't making his 3's, I would say shots, but all he does is shoot 3's now, he needs to sit and let the guys that are producing play.
But placing Chandler in the starting line-up and Gallo on the bench makes the bench very weak.
Besides this is working. we lost to an NBA finals rep.
What I like is that our guys will not quit.
I know I was one to go out and support D'atoni for putting Chandler in the sixth man role.
It's a good fit, as long as Chandler is Challenged to do it.
Also Fields, he does quite a bit of everything.
He is a hard worker also and has earned his minutes.
Whether he starts or not is not an issue.
What is an issue is no one should get over 20 minutes if they are not producing, and I don't just mean points.
Landry Fields was our leading rebounder as our shooting guard.
That's our biggest weakness, and Fields is doing his job in that area.
No starter should have less than 4 boards, and that does include Felton.
This would be my rebounding goals per position.
And yes, these are my defensive rebound expectations.
They don't include offensive boards.
Felton played 37 minutes and got one board?
I don't care if he is the point.
Long rebounds come your way too, and get ur nose in there and get a couple down in the paint.
They met the goals in their first game against the Raptors.
Gotta do it every game.
