Default Re: Chris Paul for Shawn marion

I would start by picking up Devin for Azu. Stephen Jackson is back in 2 games.

After that, look to deal Peja (sell high) or JRich for a PG. Maybe Hinrich like was mentioned, or Felton. This year, before he got hurt, Felton was looking nasty.

I still like the Marion deal. It's not that far off as CP3 is playing really big. But, if you can turn a couple of players into some 5 dimes players, I think you'll come out on top. Peja gets no dimes, Jrich not too many. You want to make sure you're 3's are ok though. So maybe keep JRich and deal away David West and Peja.

A Ben Gordon for Peja would add a few more, and David West for Felton would get you some solid dimes and satisfy that GMs desire for a big (he wanted Jefferson right?).

TJ Ford will end up being top 7 in assists, and you can get him cheap compared to other PGs.

Or like someone else said, trade one of your SGs for Hinrich.

Your team is overall much stronger having dealt for Matrix.

he's right Keep Paul

Marion is very good but you need Assist in the worst way
and you have some studs in Marions stellar categories!
In theory your gonna trade a weakness to add to a strenght you already have.
and Amare to me is a big injury risk this season so I'd stay put!
you do need another PG personally

I feel people are comparing players instead of situations
your weakness isn't anything Marion is really good at
its assist. Once you move him, you have no chance at winning the stat category. Now if your cool with that and it will makes you so strong in other stats, that it guarantee's victories every week. And all your gonna do is forfiet one category every week but dominate everything else, Do it. If that not the case DON'T. Every week
your gonna lose in Assist, guaranteed.
