The thing I noticed most about Smack in the Jimmer game was that he seemed to get over-excited whenever he got the ball low, making him look uncoordinated and "rushed". A little seasoning with Silas and I think he'll be MUCH better offensively then everyone's been saying.
Of course everyone has been saying he's totally worthless on that end...so no comparisons to Hakeem coming from here either!

If anyone in the league knows how to work with big men it's Paul Silas. He will relish working with a big, raw talent. It's what he was put on this Earth to do.

Great news. He's gonna be raw but Silas will teach him solid fundamentals. He has the potential to be an absolute beast. I'm now excited about the season.
