Default What's the word on Von Wafer?

Do the Rockets want him back?

Do you want him back as fans?

What type of deal is he worth?

The Rockets wanted him back but he doesn't want to come back.

I would love to have him back, even though i think James White might do better.

He is worth about 3.5 mil, the same amount he turned down.

I think some team will overpay him and give him like 4.5-5 mill per year so hes prolly not coming back to Houston.

James White takes his place and Houston signs Gortat would be nice imo

I like the fact that Morey got Budinger, Taylor, and of course White, three 'rookies' (White is nowhere near experienced enough to be called anything else), and if just one of them explodes then it more than makes up for the loss of Wafer. I don't think any Rockets fan think we can resign him, especially since he turned down the 3.5 mil offer (but I do have to wonder was it 3.5 spread over a few years or 3.5 per, because Wafer would've been smart to reject the 1st deal).

I'm not sure, but I think the main reason why he turned it down is because he had problems with Adelman. To my knowledge, Adelman has had to send him to the locker room twice because of his attitude.

This guy has to be pretty stupid to turn down that much. He wasn't even in the league at this time last year, and he probably wont get a contract that big if he tries to sign with another team, but hey this leaves more money for the franchise.

not sure, but he turned down 3.5 (in case you haven't already read it)... i know he has upside because he definitely hit a stride last season but he can't expect big money after your first good season.

he played a comined 46 games since 2005 before landing in houston where he was able to play 63 games, start 11 times where he never started before and given 19 min. a game. He averaged 9.7ppg in 44.7fg% and 39 3P%. he was productive and has a lot of potential. but again, if you don't want to be here we don't want you here.

Does anyone know what the market is like for him?

What teams want him? How much is he looking for? Odd he comes back to Houston?
