well i know i dont speak for every with severe depression, but during the period in my life were i did attempt suicide i wasnt more violent then normal

Yeah I totally agree. The media, more often then not, hypes things up for their publicity's sake. Columbine is a prime example of that. But the truth is if I didn't read this ground-breaking article, I would have still stuck to the old myth of the two shooters as extreme social-out casts--which they weren't. So I am guessing the media labeled them that way for the sake of giving the public easy but not necessary accurate answers (which the media habitually does).
