Hakeem, because there aren't many great centers today...so matchup wise my team would fare better with Hakeem.

I gotta go with Jordan. At 38 Jordan was averaging 25 a game before he got injured.

The raps had 39 year old Hakeem. When Hakeem was 36 he still played for the rockets and put up 19 points 9.5 rebounds 2.5 blocks 1.6 steals, in 50 games played.

In today's game? 38 year old Jordan pretty easily. Before he hurt his knee after the ASG in '02, he was averaging 25.2 pts/6.3 reb/5.2 ast, which would be at least 26/6/5 today due to extra FT's thanks to the new perimeter rules. Centers' production and impact, however, has been hampered by the zone. So that's why I'd take Jordan. With 1996 rules it would be a tougher call.

For me to make that decision, I would want to know who the "supporting cast" is first....
