Blame the coach.

Also Reggie Evans. He's a solid rebounder, but he doesn't work well with Andrea at all.

He's not playing in Montreal where his cement making friends can influence his opponents.

He's playing in Toronto, so none of these games are even happening.

Agreed and strong post.

He is not playing bad - HE IS NOT LIVING UP TO THE EXPECTATIONS OF A NUMBER 1 DRAFT CHOICE OVERALL.

Especially if your benchmarks are exclusively CP3, Durant, Tyk Evans in Sacremento, etc.

If your comparison point is Greg Ogden, or Darko M - well then its more debatable I suppose (potential, injury factors, etc)

It is what it is.

I'm not interested in debating it anymore.

Disagree Q, he is bad for his position. If you go through the list of the other 29 starting C's in the league, he's the bottom of the barrel in terms of rebounding. His weakside D and help D are still well below average, almost non-existent in fact. And his offensive game remains a perimeter oriented one, which despite his early hot streak I knew would cool down over time. There's several Centers who can't score as well as he can who I and any GM in the league would take before him in a heartbeat. He's not a "bad" player but he's certainly a "bad" starter and a limited player. No doubt about it.

The Golden State bench was apparently laughing at Bargs' "lane intimdation" last night:

Watching Andrea up close as he went through the motions or showed little emotion after allowing another lay-up was agonizing to say the least, but hearing the Warriors' bench laugh about it, since they were only about 3 feet away from me, was like someone driving a stake repeatedly through my chest.

Guys like Charlie Bell (who was talking trash to Super Fan all night) and Rodney Carney were encouraging their teammates to take it right to Bargs every time, knowing that he was fairly helpless to stop them.

Our team is the joke of the league.

^^^

Brutal.

I also liked how Bargnani "closed out" on shooters yesterday. He half-heartedly took a couple steps towards them, arms down at his side and watched them drill the jumpers. He could at least pretend like he's trying.

I think, he is not living up to the expectations of a supposedly team leader. I think everyone has come to terms of him not being a number one pick. Now its that he is no leader.

remember Detroit had ben wallace who hardly ever scored. But wallace was a defensive juggernaut. His presence alone of the court made difference. Bargs isn't a ben wallace player but sometimes leaders get it done without filling up the stat sheet. He is still a liability when on the court and that, right now, is the biggest frustration of it all.

So who's jumping on the Bargnani bandwagon? Or is it more of a clown car?

I'd imagine that's what the entire league thinks of Bargs "defense" lol.
