Steve Kerr's Predictions for the Northwest Division
1. Wolves
2. Jazz
3. Nuggets
4. Sonics
5. Blazers
Don't know if anybody knows this. At least somebody has faith in us among sports analyst. Coach Dwayne Casey would probably get Coach of the Year if they win their division. He would be taking a team from 16 below .500 to above .500. That would be enough, wouldn't you think?
This is a blessing for us. We can take the first game a lot easier than if Bibby was playing. This is our chance to get any easy win right off that bat! WooP! WooP! Then we face the Kings again on our fourth game without Bibby. BIG BOOST! If we can win 7/10 of our first games, that will be a good start considering it's very possible.
cbssportsline.com picked Utah to win the division. Not only is Utah overrated, they're also one of the most boring teams to watch. They picked the Wolves to finish 2nd.
cnnsi.com picked Utah to not only win the division, but finish 4th in the western conference! Now thats funny. Meanwhile, they've got the T-Wolves finishing 13th, only ahead of the Sonics & Blazers.
And I dont know who espn picked. Their site is so damn hard to navigate. Plus, u gotta be an "insider" to view 75% of the articles now. It's ridiculous.
maybe he's savin foye for the regular season, kinda like gruden did with cadillac last preseason. i know football and basketball are different, but maybe he just doesnt want foye to get burned out early or something

I dont know. Last season, McCants wasn't getting good minutes until after the all-star break. If we wait until after the all-star break this season to give Foye decent minutes, our record might reflect that and KG may be gone. In limited playing time this preseason, Foye has been able to get to the FT line whenever he wants. With that being one of the T-Wolves weaknesses, he needs to get 25-30 minutes a game right from the start.
