Default Any fans of the Harpsichord?

I always loved the sound of the harpsichord. Yeah, it's a dated instrument that's fallen out of favor for about 2 centuries. Any other fans of this instrument. Can anyone recommend good harpsichord pieces? Thanks.

I used to use the harpsichord in my early productions, very nice sound.

A lot of late 60's-early 70's R&B music used this instrument a bunch.

Bach's concerto in D minor i like on Harpsichord:

I generally prefer most stuff on the piano, but i sometimes like listening to period instruments instead.

You can't go wrong with a little J.S. Bach while sitting next to the fire place. Nice piece thanks for sharing.

Scarlatti sounds like metal straight out of the middle ages.

Bach to me is just not the same without the harpsichord.

Closer to our time, a lot of pop songs were using the harpsichord in interesting ways in the 60s.

A few that come to mind... I Want Her She Wants Me by The Zombies... Golden Brown by The Stranglers. And of course a number of Beatles and Beach Boys tunes.

I dig music from the 60's. They experimented a lot musically.
