Do these fans not realize they are being milked from a marketing gimmick? Both sound extremely lame, especially the "12's" for being the biggest bandwagon fan base in football and posing as hardcore fans.
Is there anything in history that was worse?

We the North mostly seems like a thing on twitter, message boards, etc.
I've actually sat in a sportsbar discussing the NFL with people and there was this one guy who prefaced nearly every sentence with "Well as a 12, I think..." or "Us 12s would..." The same guy drives a SUV with a huge ass "12" sticker and the seahawks logo and I don't believe he has any connection with Seattle or the PNW besides liking Frasier.
I don't mind the Seahawks, and was actually a bit fond of them back when they had the old colours, shawn alexander, all that jazz. But the 12th man shit is probably one of the most cringeworthy things in all of sports.Last edited by BasedTom; 01-28-2015 at 10:46 PM.
