Default Players whom made terrible FA decisions.

We all know about teams being reckless with cash, but there is another side of the coin with players whom signed with a team that were obvious terrible fits for them at the time.

The first two players I can think of are Baron Davis and Elton Brand in 2008. Baron was never going to be a good fit for a Mike Dunleavy offense and the Sixers were a run and gun team that didn't fit Brand's strengths as a player.

Whom are some other notable examples?

Melo resigning with the Knicks instead of going to Chicago.

Sprewell may have made the worst all time. Offered a decent contract, turns it down to "feed his kids", then never gets a contract ever again.

Kobe in 2004 when he decided to stay with Lakers instead of coming to the Clippers.

    Guy could've been a legend.

James Johnson signing to play for a coach that hates him just as he's emerging

Shit, if he was frustrated with Mitch taking so long to build a contender around him...
