I'm not gonna lie, I didn't read the op, what was the question?

One of my favourite bands ever. Saw 'em live about 6 times and their shows never get old. I must admit, however, that their last album isn't quite as good as the others. Still, fantastic freakin' band, it has everything you need: catchy tunes AND hairmetalsolos. What more do you want, greedy bastards!

Definitely went through a phrase where I loved coheed, then stopped listening to them when everyone started gushing about them. Now that I don't care about the scene anymore I can sit back and appreciate them a little again. They're still ridiculously overrated by a lot of people.

I've never really listened to a lot of their stuff, but one time I was ridin with my cousin up to his house (he lives like an hour and a half away from the city) and he played In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth for the whole ride and it grew on me. The album had just came out I think, I was freshly 16 at the time, otherwise I woulda drove, so did that cd come out in 2nd half of 03? But even today I still listen to that CD, it's a classic as far as I'm concerned. And it still makes me think of this girl I met and kinda fell in love with out there. Good times. She was bad as hell.
