Man did you hear what he said about Araujo? They think he will bring something to this team. Interesting to hear that they had Sene ranked one spot ahead of Brewer. I wonder how we would feel about the Jazz right now if they had drafted Sene.

For one, I'd probably have different opinions on wether Giricek still fits in or not.
Gonna be good to hear LHM on radio every week.

Go here http://www.1280thezone.com/ondemand.asp
Listen to The BIG Show every thursday.

I like what he said about Jerry Sloan learning from last year and maybe realising that he has to play the rookies. We could see a more uptempo Jazz this year if coach Sloan is happy to let the leash off a lil bit and let the team create outside of the offence, within reason of course.

Made me laugh when he couldn't recall "that guy we sent to Toronto" 's name. He also said Giricek as looking good and healthy.

What exactly did he think Araujo could bring to the club other than a few more years of Ostertagdom

He's not even worthy of that. Atleast Ostertag knew how to block a shot.
Though I do have to admit, Hoffa looked like he was starting to get comfortable in the last RMR game. I'm really trying to wait on passing judgement with this guy. I didn't watch him much in BYU or Toronto. I know I'm certainly not impressed with stats, but let's see what coach Sloan can do with him. He seems like a pretty cool guy, and I'm glad he's getting a second chance in a place he feels comfortable in.

Tough and passionate. Basketball skills? What are those? (he's making money and I'm tending a network for peanuts, though) If he can get some playing time and figure out position defense and position rebounding, he could be somewhat valuable (role playerish).

He needs to figure out the line between TOUGHNESS and out right THUGGERY. Once/If he works that out he'll be a great addition to the team. The Jazz need a little mean streak and that's what I think they see in Hoffa. I remember seeing him play a game for BYU and they were down by 15 at the half. He single handedly brought them back with rebounding and a little aggression around the basket. Sounds like LHM is expecting that kind of form from him.
