Surprisingly good reviews

Saw it, it's not a terrible flick, but the ending seems glued together.

7.8 is good for IMDB standards.
Anyway... I decided against going to see a movie tonight.
Maybe some other time.

I really liked the movie. Its smarter than most movies that are filmed a bit like a summer blockbuster. Not quite as good as the director's 1st movie (Moon). I give it about an 8/10.

Moon and Source Code were same director? Damn never knew.
Both great flicks.
Great I go to IMDB and discover the next thing he is working on is the Warcraft movie.

Excellent movie. One of the better sci-fi movies I've seen in the past 15 years or so.
My only complaint was that it maaaaaaaaaay have been better to end the movie on a more ambiguous note during the "freeze" rather than going that extra step. I still liked the ending but the emotional impact would have been bigger and it wouldn't have muddled the science of the movie as much.
Despite that, 9/10 and I can't wait for Jones' future movies.

Yep, Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie.
He was trying to do a side-sequel to Moon called "Mute", which was set in a Blade Runner-esque Berlin, but couldn't get financing for it, so he's doing director for hire work (which he was on Source Code).

Oh yeah, Mitch Kramer?
Re: Source Code? Anybody? Anybody?
Movie was an extremely pleasant surprise, as were the performances, especially Gyllenhall. Had tears in my eyes when he was explaining to his dad that he was killed. I highly recommend it.

Re: Source Code? Anybody? Anybody?
The movie isn't bad, as long as you don't like thinking. If you think about it, even a little bit, you'll realize how stupid is....and the ending is REALLY stupid and goes against its own internally developed "rules".
It isn't bad for just some fun to watch, but it definitely isn't smart.

I like how a 2 yr old thread gets bumped and everyone responds without noticing.
Anyway, I watched it twice in theaters because I saw it with a friend first & then my wife. We all enjoyed it. It definitely is one of those movies you have to suspend belief in order to like, and at times, that can seem like a chore, but eh... The general public is stupid anyway so they definitely gobbled it down and loved it. I simply liked it.
