Default Cavs may want Beno Udrih, from the Spurs

Cavaliers GM Danny Ferry would love to pry Beno Udrih from the Spurs to become his team's starting point guard. - New York Post

Yes, I would just love to have a guy that shoots 36% from the field and 28% from 3... that would just be fantastic!

He HAS to start believing in Daniel Gibson, and also Shannon Brown, both capable Point Guards who will develop.. Use them first!!!

Running out of Point guards in FA.

I expect a possible trade with Indiana as they seem to be collecting guards.

The Cav's have been interested in Steve Blake for quite a while although his price has gone up.

I'm not too interested in Bibby.

Mo Williams is the best available right now.

I am intrigued by the Ruben Patterson and Mo Peterson rumor.

Patterson is a beast inside, can shoot the lights out at mid-range while Peterson has the experience and averaged 16 pts two years ago.

I did pass a message to Ruben that he has to work on his foul shooting!

He said he would love to play for the Cav's.

Not name dropping here...just happen to have an inside source.

This transaction would fill our top two needs, a mid-ranger shooter and outside/slasher point guard.

Maybe one of our summer league prospects could backup Z.

I'd like to see one or two of our summer league bigs make the roster, but we'll see.

I really don't want to pay Bibby's price to get him here.

Mo Williams is probably also out of our price range, and Blake's price has gone up as well.

Ferry needs to pull of something magical here, or he may end up going down as a bust as a GM AND a player.

Yes, we got to the Finals, but it may be a one and done deal if he tries to let last year's success carry us back there this year.

If anyone thinks we're a lock to repeat, they're naive. Ferry needs to take this time to improve our roster by any means necessary.

If that means trading Hughes for some players of lesser value just to dump his contract, I'm all for it. We may not do as well in the playoffs this year, but the following year he could potentially free up cap space for a quality signing in Lebron's last contract season.
