Seems like ESPN has singled out Illinois as the marquee bubble team this year. All day I've been hearing arguments for whether they're in or out.

Definitely. We were on and off beginning of the year but picked it up late.

I have no idea who stuck a stick up Hubert Davis' ass. HE said Stanford over us??? I can understand an arguement for Purdue (kind of, but not really), but Stanford? With that mighty RRI of 65? Give me a break.

We're in the tournament. No ifs ands or buts.

Illinois is in...ESPN is retarded...I beleive that same guy said stanford has a better tourney profile than arizona and should get in over them

Here is there profile head to head:

    Arizona 20-10 vs Stanford 18-12
    Arizona sweep the season series
Arizona was tied for 3rd in pac-10...stanford was in 6th
    Last 10 games..Arizona 6-4/Stanford 4-6
    Arizona RPI 14...Stanford RPI 66
    Arizona SOS 2...Stanford SOS 28

I could go on but I think you get my point(I dont know how some "analyst" get there jobs)

Hubert Davis was nothing more than a great three point shooter. I hate how he was so adamantly against Illinois but kept saying "Shane Pruitt". Understood that there are so many teams he needs to follow and it'd be impossible for him to remember every name accurately...but if you're constantly berating a team, you better know the team in and out.

These analysts are ****ing jokes. The bracketology guy on ESPN had us in before we beat Indiana. Now, we're out. How does that **** even make sense?? I read so many articles saying a win over Penn St. would probably be enough, and that a win over Indiana would mean we were locks, but now that that's happened, all these guys have us out?? WTF!!! What is going through these morons' minds??

Illinois is probably going to make it on the fact that they have insanely good computer numbers. (28 RPI, 23 SOS) It's surprising, because their Big 10 schedule is very deceiving. Didn't play @ OSU or @ Wisconsin. However, you have to give them credit, they did good work Out of Conference that usually is enough.

If you asked me though, I'd rather take Stanford over them. However, it shouldn't matter, because both teams deserve to be dancing.

Illinois gets a twelve seed, to get smashed by VTech. Indiana with a 7 seed? what you think of that?

I guess beating them twice doesn't mean anything? And we will not get "smashed."

I'd rather have played OSU and Wisconsin only on the road, to be honest. If you're not gonna beat them anyway, since they're two of the top five teams in the nation- and we should've beat Wisconsin, but that's another story- I'd rather have home games you'll likely win against Purdue and Penn State, who we only played on the road, and finish 10-6 or 11-5.

So I think our Big Ten schedule was deceiving, but in the opposite manner in which you intended.
