What's Ron Paul's solution to problems? Stick your head in the sand. It's ridiculous. He's against nato, the un, abortion, immigration, birth-right citizenship, thinks separation of church and state is a myth and thinks the church should "eclipse" the state. Oh yeah, and do away with the IRS and abolish the income tax

He's a damn wacko.

No, he advocates real change. I don't see why you're for income tax if it's possible to be done with. I want to be able to keep all my hard-earned money. You can cut the income tax if you cut spending.

And how is Ron Paul against immigration. lol you're an idiot.

Ron Paul's view on abortion is that it should be a states' right to decide that. So really, that issue doesnt matter.

And once again, way to avoid anything nexxus has said you stupid tool.

Logic and reason. Kind of how we wouldn't have had a financial crisis.

Also 100% libel. Sounds like you don't know jack sh*t. Where's that "quote" you got? Oh yeah, you made it up on the spot. He doesn't believe religion should play ANY part of politics. That's what the founders envisioned, that's what he upholds. Oh but that doesn't sound good in a no logic bash of him, does it?

So does Mike Huckabee, and if you had any education of economics; it would be completely feasible to do so within a period of 8 years or so.

No, the fact you don't know a damn position on the most important issue of America today is not only wack, it's just plain sad.

Ron Paul slurpers just won't quit. Let's pull all our troops from around the world, shut down the borders, eliminate income tax, the fed reserve, withdraw from NATO, WTO, any FTA, ignore globalization, close up our borders, people born in the US should not automatically be given citizenship, eliminate net neutrality, eliminate affirmative action, throw out Roe V Wade, let states govern against sodomy, deregulate environmental concerns to the state....

And on an on. He may have predicted the housing bubble, but his stances are so far from popular belief it's crazy. Even if he was elected he couldnt' get **** done because nobody would go along with his bull****.

People actually would be like his current supporters... If he were ever elected, that would mean people actually understand what is going on and have decided that they arent scared to do away with nonsense like the FED and the UN and all the global crap and all the policing of the world and the other BS that we feel like we are entitled to for no other reason than because we have conducted ourselves this way for a long long time...

we wonder why we have soo many problems, yet we dont want clean up our act properly...

The stimulus and all the bailouts are just a little more than musical chairs, moving around the pieces so somebody different winds up without a chair when the music stops this time... Its not a solution... its a gimmick

I was/still am an Obama supporter, but there are some positions where it's tough to argue with Paul. For instance, it really isn't doing us any good, in fact it's a major drag on the deficit, to be spending all these billions on military bases around the world. Right now we're an "empire" in terms of having military forces everywhere but unlike the empires of the past that taxed the subjugated peoples we're not reaping any profit out of this whatsoever, and furthermore, if we were a not an interventionist nation we wouldn't have had 9/11 because the Saudi al Qaeda terrorists never would have been agitated. I am not saying that they're justified, they definitely are madmen, I'm pointing out the fact that if we stayed out of their area of the world we would not be one of their enemies. I don't back Paul because I don't see how he's going to get anywhere from within a Party that is anti-intellectual enough to think Sarah Palin is a good Presidential Candidate and will stand in groups to chant "Drill baby drill" but most of the time arguing against his supporters really is a losing argument.

Oh great, another non-sensical rant from one of the ass talkers on the board. Let's see where he's wrong, again.

Quote:
Let's pull all our troops from around the world,
Ignoring the glaring financial drain this is causing: This is what the world wants, who gave the US the authority to have troops in Belgium and Guatemala? How would you feel if Saudi Arabia had troops patrolling the streets in your neighborhood? Fact: citizens would be pissed.

Quote:
shut down the borders
,
Where did this lie come from?

Quote:
eliminate income tax
,
HOW HORRIBLE!

Quote:
the fed reserve
The one that caused the great depression and the current one? HOW HORRIBLE

,
Quote:
withdraw from NATO, WTO, any FTA,
Because those are all special interests "agreements". It's not free trade when one party profits (due to lobbying) while everyone else loses their jobs because of it. It's bullsh*t.

Quote:
ignore globalization,
I'd be surprised if you even have any idea what this means economically

Quote:
close up our borders,

This sounds familiar? Oh wait, you already made up this lie two sentences ago. Just because you repeat it doesn't make it true. In fact, it paints you as a moron.

Quote:
people born in the US should not automatically be given citizenship,
How is this a bad thing to eliminate the incentive of illegal immigration. I'll wait for the lack of a response.
Quote:
eliminate net neutrality,
Source? Oh wait, you made it up again.

Quote:
eliminate affirmative action,

Eliminate discrimination?! Oh noes! Again, I'm a BLACK guy against affirmative action. You're a white guy for it. My stance>>yours; I don't want "help" getting a job, my credentials alone are enough to get me a career. All this does it PROMOTE racism.
Quote:
throw out Roe V Wade,
Because it's a state issue genius. The supreme court made an illegal rule doesn't have the authority to regulate practices. Just like it can't rule "marijuana illegal". It deals solely with the Constitution. Pick up a history book once in a while.
Quote:
let states govern against sodomy,
WTF? You are worse than Primetime at pulling sh*t out of your ass. There are so many things wrong with what you're saying it's getting sad.

Quote:
deregulate environmental concerns to the state....

Quote:

Yeah, the popular belief that financial sector was in fantastic shape was the correct one. The only crazy people are the one's who ignore facts, kind of like yourself.

If he was elected, that would mean the majority better go damn along with his solutions, or get the f*ck out of the way. Idiot.

How is that funny?

Here is his financial advisor being laughed at for predicting a housing bubble and the financial collapse in 05, 06 and 07

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...hiff+was+right

Only the Austrian School of economics correct proved the Keynesians inevitable failure precisely.

It's time to when things are so scary and you don't want to think about real change. Fools.

Be like Art Laffer, " home prices have PROVED that wealth has skyrocketed in the country. There's no recession coming. Ridiculous "

what's funny is that allroundplaya says he is the ONLY one who predicted this recession.

the rest is from a Family Guy episode.

Lighten up dude.

Why do you become such an utter douche when Ron Paul's name comes up?

you are like Konex and PleezeBelieve homer when Ron Paul comes up on these pages. He's a fringe politician (read: loon) and his ideas won't work and he will never lead.

Because the mainstream media has smeared him and created misnomers the population doesn't understand. Most notably economically.

Directions of parties can change over time. If you recall, Democrats as early back as the 50s held all the crazy religious christians. I'm hoping that the Republican party can rid fallacious entities out of the party and attract the Personal rights democrats. Nothing is impossible, that's why his supporters dubbed his run a "revolution"
