Haha at this trade for the magic. I dont think getting a late lottery pick for afflalo was out of the question at all. However, i like fournier's game. great at getting into the paint, and has decent size.

Man, the nuggets are going to be pretty scary next year, very athletic and young crew, can't wait to watch the western conference clash next season!

Nuggets were destroyed by injuries last year too. Be really interesting to see how they bounce back. Lawson had a big year last year and is pretty underrated. Gallo coming back, Nate, Shaw having another year. Just need to stay healthy.

Really curious to see if the Nuggets make anymore moves and what they do with #11. We also have the right to swap with NY in '16 that's a pretty valuable asset with Melo potentially leaving.

From what I've read it's that Afflalo being a 1 year rental essentially killed his value.

I posted about this all the time saying the Magic were stupid to hold him for two reasons;

1. He was adding wins to a team looking to tank
2. His value was going to drop because he'd only have 1 year left rather than 2


Both the Magic and Thunder failed horribly here. The Thunder would have won the title with Afflalo.

And the Magic would be sitting on, at worst, the 29th pick, Thabo's expiring contract, and Perry Jones.

And they might have a top 3 pick because Afflalo added wins and hurt their odds to win the lottery.

Just horrid...it's so bad I can't even get over it. Presti should be so embarrassed right now.
