    DRtg isn't horrible
    DWS isn't horrible
Defensive Box Score +/- is good
Averaged 1.6 steals per game in the postseason (which is good for 14th most)

Jimmer's last and best opportunity to carve out a spot in this league.

    Stacked. No excuses

I mean, I can see it working for the Spurs, but it's not like the dude 'fits' in any particular system outside of being a three point specialist.
I think if Jimmer's allowed to be a Ben Gordon 6th man type of role, then I think that's a good fit for him.

We'll probably see him play the same role that Gary Neal played a couple years ago with SA.

Spurs play deep, so sometimes they want guys who aren't starter caliber players, but still provide a specific skill at an NBA level.

Jimmer can't defend at an NBA level. Jimmer CAN score at an NBA level. He's averaged 16.2 pp-36 in his career, including 3 straight seasons of 18+ pp-36
40% of his shots have been 3's, and he shoots them at 38% (even when everyone knows that's the spot he wants to shoot from, and he shoots a lot of them off the dribble)

There's no use in giving up on a guy with Jimmer's shooting stroke. The kid can do only one thing, but he does it too well to just ignore it. If the Spurs managed to make something out of Matt Bonner's skills for so long, doing it with Jimmer won't be much of a challenge, all it takes is something that Bonner has that some elite player don't: Effort.

Cheap replacement for Belineli who was too expensive with Aldridge on the roster.

Jimmer is a baller, it is not that Jimmer fits this system or that system it is simply that the Spurs cater to people who know how to play the game.

    HUGE deal
those guys are have great court sense and IQ. Jimmer does not have these things...if he did he would be a good point guard. he is a chucker
