Default Tony Parker is still FMVP if Spurs win

All this Danny Green talk is nonsense.
Green is just a spot-up shooter who's hitting everything at the moment.
Take out Green and the Spurs can still win this series. Take out Parker and they never had a chance. He controls the whole offence; he won game one with a buzzer beater; he's playing on a bad hamstring and still showing up anyone who guards him.

Parker is still FMVP.

...If Spurs win.

Why not Duncan? Still their defensive anchor, leader and one of top scorer.

It isnt nonsense. FMVP isnt an issue of how good you are or even who the teams leader is. Its pretty much asking who had the best week. That can be a spot up shooter.

Parker and Duncan have been the Finals MVPs thus far, imo, and Green has had a Rip Hamilton kind of role but with alot less touches and assists. Don't see Danny winning it on three's and defense alone, but then again the media are dumb and tend to be hypnotized by great three point shooters (Curry, Miller, etc).

It's still Duncan. He's not playing the best in the series, but he's still the leader and is playing quite well defensively.

Green has been shooting lights out recently, but it's not enough for him to bag the FMVP.

Was anyone else surprised when they were chanting MVP MVP for Tony Parker at the free throw line? Duncan was probably in shock.. he's the true legend playing for that team.

As I said in the other thread, Parker is the guy that has been effective enough throughout the series and has demanded so much attention that Miami has had to constantly give Green space he would never get otherwise if he was hot.

hard to tell who should be the FMVP because there's not really one player dominating within this great Spurs team. However I believe that all the 3s that Green provides are the dagger that kills Miami. They could live with Parker and Duncan but all the 3point shooting is killing them! Therefore you should hand the FMVP to Green imo. But that's never gonna happen, because the NBA probably wants a big name to win it.

Duncan has a slim lead on Parker, imo. Averaging a double double while anchoring the defense especially now that Splitter has been taken out of the equation. If Parker scores more in the next game with a W, then he takes it. But it could still be Bron or Wade.
