The adam's apple gets shaved, and eventually you work to the big snip, when the dick is removed and turned into a v@g. The sensitive parts of your testicles are wound and refitted as you clit and other arts of your junk are turned inward to give sensation in your new v@g.

'soi' is Thai for 'lane' and this 'soi 6 Pattaya' is I am guessing an infamous ladyboy lane. Pattaya is the sex capital of Thailand. In most sex areas in Thailand, there is always a ladyboy area, but these bars or areas are usually well known.

These girls dupe Western tourists daily because the males in Thailand often have body structures more similar to the Western ideal of a model (the women tend to be more up and down, while the dudes have more of a v-shape). After a bit of time in Asia it is easy to differentiate, but when you are new, and drunk there is a chance you will fraternize with a ladyboy as they are far more aggressive in seeking out companionship than regular girls. Some men who stay in Thailand for a long time actually seek out ladyboys because it is something different and they try harder. And to be frank, some of them are really good looking.

Always check hands and chin, they are usually the two tell tale points that cannot be changed.

It is quite rare to find a fully processed ladyboy with a dick and the ones who have ***** are rough looking most of the time as they are in transition and have not changed their body enough with hormone treatment etc.

Ladyboys hang out with other ladyboys so it is quite easy to spot them and a lot of hostess bars (where these girls were working) don't let ladyboys work there. If they do allow ladyboys a lot of them tend to be there.

A hostess bar in Thailand (different from a gogo bar or karaoke parlor)is where women sit and drink with you, but you need to pay for their relatively expensive drinks (of which they get a cut). In the classier ones the women are often internet porn models or local trade show models and they drink and be ladylike while in the sketchier ones the women come from poorer rural places and constant ask to take you upstairs for sex (they come to the tourist areas to make money to bring back to the village so are much keener to get as many customers as possible).

what's the difference between a tranny, shemale and a ladyboy?

i ask that because you sure had sex with one of those.

Jizzo seems like a pretty international dude and said he has spent some time in Thailand so I'm sure from just talking to people and hanging out there he knows what's up.

No I didn't screw any ladyboys but I did get to know a lot about the local culture because it is quite frankly fascinating. And as a white male there, a lot of the drinking spots are overtly or covertly staffed with girls that you can f*ck any time. It is just part of the situation, whores and ladyboys and drug dealers etc. hang around the places where whitey parties because whitey has cash.

Thai men f*ck way more prostitutes than the tourists (I read in the Lonely Planet that the average Thai man visits a prostitute like once every two weeks and married men of means keep several girls on the side) but those girls command much less money and are often undocumented hilltribe girls from Burma (especially in the North), when you hear about sex slaves and shit like that it isn't in reference to the girls who screw foreigners, they are usually in it to get paid and usually cash out after 18 months taking the money back to their village so they can get married on in some cases give it to their husband. A lot of chicks go f*ck 'farang' (white foreigner) because some Thai dude knocked them up and left and now they need to ay for a kid. Rich Thais however f*ck internet models or trade show girls. I had a few Thai associates take me to a few high end hostess bars where some of the girls who worked there also modelled for websites like this (nsfw): http://www.theblackalley.com/

Ladyboys are considered a third gender in Thailand and Thailand is actually at the forefront of transgender medicine because of the amount of sex changes they perform. People in Thailand are not homophobic, so it is not uncommon to see a phase one ladyboy (who is basically a dude who looks butch but is wearing make up) working at KFC and having a laugh with their colleagues. Once they get full done though they tend to hang out with other ladyboys, so it isn't really hard to tell them apart.

When I was in Chiang Mai a gaggle of ladyboys hungout at night outside a bar halfway between where I lived and the nearest 7-Eleven, the first few times I walked by they were all up in my shit but once they realized I was around a lot and lived in the area they left me alone. They mostly prey on short term tourists and sex starved Europeans. It also doesn't hurt to know a few Thai phrases, they generally stop dead when you tell them you aren't keen in Thai. Ladyboy in Thai is Kathoey (kah-toy).

In person they give off a weird vibe and it is quite hard to get turned on by them, from a distance they might look good (nice hair, clothes and body) but up close there is a weird sixth sense reaction your body has that turns you off, something about it seems fishy and you lose interest.

The sex scene in Thailand is not as prominent and in your face as the media would like you to think, It is just as prevalent in the Philippines or China or Taiwan with the difference being Thailand's sex scene caught steam with US soldiers during the Vietnam war so it has a closer relation to the West.

Today the countries who f*ck prostitutes in Thailand the most are:

    #1-Thais
    #2-Japanese
    #3-Germany, UK (tie)

Wow. Keep it coming man this is very interesting. Why do you think Thailand has so many more transexuals than any other country in the world?

Thais are probably the most docile and gentle people I have come across, not so much in a submissive way but with a sort of 'regalness' to it, and despite the popularity of Muay Thai and masculinity, a large percentage of Thai men are very feminine. I think this lends itself to transgender desires, why be gay when you can just go all out and become a woman? I also think there is a desire in all societies to have the feeling of belonging that comes with being in a subgroup and since 'kathoeys' are generally accepted in society and there is a place for them, the option of being transgender becomes more appealing. There are lots of ladyboy 'success stories' ones who got married and earned a normal female life, there are also ladyboy cabaret shows and shit in tourist spots and a ladyboy pageant in the country each year.

At the end of the day it is f*cking mind boggling how big a part of the society it is but you must also remember when you mix a gentle, feminine population with Buddhism (Thais are insanely religious) there will be a live and let live attitude that pervades the country. Their only real angst is towards the minority Muslim population in the South of the country.

Hmm. Thats quite interesting. But even though its more socially acceptable, these kathoey are never truly regarded as female, are they? Thus why they call it the third gender?
