The Bulls were 41-3 at one point, that's the best stretch they had.
The Heat are playing .900 ball and have only lost 2 games in that stretch with LeBron playing (as opposed to 3 games with Jordan playing).

those ppl saying no big men era, if they played in another era there were more big men to chose from and the heat would likely pick up a decent big guy making them even better

With Heat's salary limits, I find that hard to believe. Better crop of big men available means teams will pay big for their services and Miami doesn't have that with the Big 3 there.

But if the league had a bunch of good big men now, the Heat may have gotten a big man instead of Bosh.
There may be a different big 3.
Which completely changes everything which is why I don't like direct comparisons. I'd rather compare teams relative to the era they play in.

In a sense, you're doing just that in this thread alone, comparing directly two distinctly different records against one another and comparing to figure if the Heat are better than, if not greater by directly comparing.

No, I'm not. You guys can answer how you'd like. But when I compare teams, I compare them in their own eras.
Are the Heat more impressive against their competition than the Bulls were against theirs?

those 72-10 bulls got demolished by the knicks 104-72 in one game.

The 96 Knicks team were better than the 13 Bulls. Much more battle tested, veteran group. Had a better team the following year too.

Miami had a chance to break the record if they didn't coasted for the first half of the season

Also, Heat are built according to this era. If there were a lot of skilled big men in the league, heat would have gotten one too just for defense with bosh pulling that guy out of the paint with his mid range jumpers.
I know most of you don't watch basketball but think before you write.this is not Cleveland. heat's front office knows what it is doing.

GIVEN NOT EARNED
Re: Miami Heat are 45-3 in last 48 games...
Miami Heat plays:
-4 games with Bobcats 21-61 (26%)
-4 games with Raptors 34-48 (42%)
-4 games with Wizards 29-53 (35%)
-4 games with Orlando 20-62 (24%)
-4 games with Cleveland 24-58 (29%)
-4 games with 76ers 34-48 (42%)
-4 games with Detroit 29-53 (35%)
That gives them 28 games with these all below 42% winning percentage teams.
Miami Heat's dominance
Another fun fact. There is only 1 team in East with over 55 wins - the Heat.
While there are 5 teams in the West with over 55 wins - Grizzlies, Clippers, Spurs, Thunder, Nuggets
