Is it the injury? Is it because he's undersized? Why has he been so uneffective in the paint? Everytime he gets the ball, he never even gets a chance to put the ball up before getting hacked out of bounds. He can't seem to outmuscle anybody, looks like he's getting punked by anyone who's guarding him...not even Bynum looked as frail as this dude from my recollection...
And people blame Kobe's ballhog for Howard taking so few shots, dude can't do anything when he gets the ball.

just a nonfactor right now, i just dont get what the hell it is
Watching him play he is pacing himself. I think you will see more dwight being himself around All star break. He was expected to be out until Dec during the summer. I think he is easing himself in slowly and its better for him to do that.
A guy is averaging 18 and 12 with close to 3 blocks.
The team hasn't developed a true identity yet for him to conform to
Give them time to assimilate
Dude's a center, the offense was flowing through him in Orlando....you don't wait around when you're in his position, you take the initiative and assert yourself in there. That was the original intent at least from his end coming to LA, was to take over as the center of attention on offense.
No one's gonna wait around for him to "conform", dude needs to take charge and find ways to at least give himself a chance to put the ball in the basket. Right now he can't even do that, everytime he gets the ball he literally gets muscled out of the paint before he can do anything with it.
