I cannot wait till Halloweeny when the new look Lakers begin their 2012-13 season with little Stevie Nash at the helm orchestrating a much more potent Lakers offense. Even if the Lakers don't get D-Ho just by the addition of Nash alone puts everyone in place with his pick n rolls would allow everyone around him much better, freeing up our big's especially Pau with a lot of mid-range pick n pops and letting Kobe do his thang roaming the wings just like a free safety licking his chops on offense.
So Jim Buss was the initiator for Nash...I'm surprised. My apology to JB for doubting him.
Los Angeles general manager Mitch Kupchak thought he had no chance to get Nash when Lakers owner Jim Buss encouraged him to call Nash's agent, Bill Duffy, in the opening minutes of free agency. Kupchak quickly learned his team fit Nash's two criteria as an impending free agent no longer in the Suns' plans: Nash wanted to be near his three children in Phoenix, and he wanted to play for a winner.
