    Word on the streets is LBJ has a 52" vertical. But I think it's closer to 60".

    Seeing the HS dunk contest, where LeBron has his head clearly over the rim, we can affirmative say that he had AT LEAST a 40 inch vertical leap back then. Doing simple maths and giving him a legit 6-8 (which he was w/ shoes), he should jump 40.1 to get his head just exactly at rim level.

    LeBron didn't have his head over the rim or anywhere close to it. You are being fooled by the angle.

    The only 3 guys who I can believe MAY have gotten that high that have been in the league the past few years are Travis Outlaw, Dwight Howard & James White.

    Vince in his earlier days.
