Re: 2012 Trade Deadline Deal: Derek Fisher and a first to Houston for Jordan Hill
Like many people said, Fisher's value to the Lakers locker room was huge. Kobe is not that leader. Bynum might have to fill that hole, he's the most vocal of the rest.

Loyalty has nothing to do with it. Fisher left before.
It's the fact that they traded someone Kobe trusted, and the fact that they also gave away a first round pick in a supposedly deep draft for a bozo who will never leave the bench and for Houston to take Fisher.
Meanwhile, Beasley didn't get traded and their Odom TPE just sits there...unused. So, they shipped out one of Kobe's trusted buddies and cut costs. That's what sucks.

Arrgh...shipping out Fisher AND a first round pick for some scrub who won't leave the bench? And NOT getting Beasley to shore up the bench scoring?!
Since they got Sessions so I guess Kobe don't give a f*ck and Fisher is old ass mfer and can't keep up to young pgs.

Re: 2012 Trade Deadline Deal: Derek Fisher and a first to Houston for Jordan Hill
The only good thing that came out of this is that the Lakers got Session. I honestly don't see Hill contributing when he is not an offensive threat..
It's really sad to see Fish go though, did NOT see this coming.

Meh. Addition by subtraction. Brown's beta and would've played Fisher over Blake. Hell, he probably would've started Fisher over Sessions. Now that problem is gone.

Are you f*cking kidding me? We're going to trade one of the best f*cking clutch shot makers in the league for some shit ass bust? WHYYYYYYY?
Fish is our f*cking captain and locker room guy, and we trade him for some piece of shit that doesn't even deserve to be in the league to "save money"?
You've got to f*cking kidding me.

This has Jim Buss written all over it. Plus, with Fisher gone, Kobe Bryant can do whatever the hell he wants since Fisher isn't there to keep him in check anymore.

30 shots a game incoming. To give the finger to Jim Buss. We all know who really runs the Lakers.

Makes no sense.
You are stupid.
When was the last "Clutch shot" Fisher made? 2009? 2010?
He's trash now, give it up.

The thing is with a decent PG now, more often then not the lakers aren't going to need those clutch shots from him. ANyone saying the Lakers got worse is delusional. Blake has been outplaying fisher all season and should have been the starter. This trade just accomplished what brown failed to do earlier. Bench Fish

Mathematics, it's fundamental.
