    StateOfMind12
    PG - '08 CP3 | '96 Penny
    SG - '96 Richmond | '92 Clyde
    SF - '06 Pierce | '05 Bowen
    PF - '97 Malone | '06 Brand
    C - '94 Hakeem | '97 Mutombo

    VS

    Rainintwos
PG: Steve Nash / Rajon Rondo
SG: Rick Barry /Gilbert Arenas / Vince Carter
SF: George Gervin / Bernard King
    PF: Kevin Garnett
    C: Tim Duncan / O. Thorpe

I got stateofmind here, Duncan & Garnett is a dominant frontline, but I think rainintwos lacks defense on the perimeter and he has depth issues on the frontline. Mind has a nice balanced team that has pretty much everything.

    Zen
    PG - 64-65 Jerry West - 72-73 Nate Archibald
    SG - 80-81 Julius Erving - 64-65 Sam Jones
    SF - 62-63 Elgin Baylor - 03-04 Ron Artest
    PF - 69-70 Willis Reed - 64-65 Jerry Lucas
    C - 99-00 Shaquille O'neal - 73-74 Elvin Hayes

    vs
    SuperPippen
    PG - '89 Mark Price / '82 Dennis Johnson
    SG - '90 Michael Jordan / '01 Allen Iverson
    SF - '93 Charles Barkley / '06 Ray Allen
    PF - '82 M. Malone / 79 Artis Gilmore
    C - '11 Dwight Howard / '82 Robert Parish

This is close to me, I think it goes 7 games. SuperPippen has a good advantage on the boards and he does have the greatest player at his peak in Jordan, I also think he has a better shooting team. SuperPippen.

    iamgine
PG Magic Johnson / Sidney Moncrief
SG Dominique Wilkins / Michael Cooper
SF Dennis Rodman / Chris Mullin
PF David Robinson / Ralph Sampson
C Patrick Ewing / Wes Unseld

    VS

    NuggetsFan
    PG: Kidd\ I.Thomas
    SG: Wade\ G.Rice
    SF: Havlicek\Worthy
    PF: B. Wallace\McAdoo
    C: Russell\Sabonis

NuggetsFan has unbelievable frontline defense, but the duo of Robinson/Ewing is better overall. iamgine has amazing guard defenders off the bench and he has a nice balanced team that can cause problems and Magic/Nique/Robinson on the fast break would be lethal. iamgine

Breakdown: Considering that one team has the prototypical player at all positions and the other has 3 players playing out of position stateofmind has a huge advantage. No true center hurts rainingtwos team plus not stacking Steve Nash with shooters reduces his PG's role. SOM's team has players in their natural position who look like they'd gel very well. SOM's team also kills defensively.

    SF - '93 Charles Barkley / '06 Ray Allen
    PF - '82 M. Malone / 79 Artis Gilmore
    C - '11 Dwight Howard / '82 Robert Parish

Breakdown: I think Zen should start Tiny at PG, move West to SG and Julius at SF, then to me that would be the perfectly constructed line-up. Superpippen has too many blackholes on his team to have chemistry. Zen's team is pretty classy, and then there's Shaq, but i don't see any chemistry issues

    Heezy's pick: Zen

    SG: Wade\ G.Rice
    SF: Havlicek\Worthy
    PF: B. Wallace\McAdoo
    C: Russell\Sabonis

Breakdown: Holy crap iamgine has alot of height. For this team I would actual start Robinson, Rodman, and Nique as the front court and have showtime on steroids. Moncrief should start in the backcourt and would play the role of a more defensive Byron Scott. Nuggetsfan starting line-up is built like the way I explained iamgine's but the difference is Magic.

    Heezy's Pick: Iamgine

    ================================================== ========

    1987_Lakers
    PG - '92 John Stockton | '72 Walt Frazier
    SG - '03 Tracy McGrady | '78 David Thompson
    SF - '86 Larry Bird | '06 Shawn Marion
    PF - '87 Kevin McHale | '10 Pau Gasol
    C - '77 Bill Walton | '85 Mark Eaton

    vs

    AlonzoGOAT
    G - 64 Robertson | 86 Maurice Cheeks
    G - 90 R. Miller | '77 Maravich
    F - 97 G. Hill - 84 Dantley
    F - 06 Dirk | '68 DeBusschere
    C - 66 Chamberlain | '08 M. Camby

Breakdown: 1987 has great team dynamics and balance. But i like the way Alonzo has his team set-up for Wilt to destroy the middle. 1987 has a stronger bench, but I have the starting line-up edge for team Wilt.
Oscar overpowers Stockton, Reggie running through a screen set by Wilt, Dirk drawing McHale outside to let Wilt abuse Walton 1 on 1.

    Heezy's Pick: AlonzoGOAT

Lettuce be honest you have a personal agenda against me lol but anyway I wish we got approved voters like Redblack and shaqattack just because some people might be trying to vote for their best match ups in the future.

and Daheezy you are right my first priority was to get Wilt and not get players that might not give up the ball to the GOAT big man that's why I was never going to get kobe and avoided getting AIeven though he was available for me later in the draft and ect.. They're beast players but this team is for WILT to shine!

1987_Lakers - I think AlonzoGOAT actually constructed a great team around Wilt. However, 1987_Lakers has a complete advantage almost everywhere else in terms of matchup. Walton was a great defender during his peak so he could probably defend Wilt pretty well. McHale is also the perfect defender on Dirk in my opinion. Mchale was not only one of the greatest defensive PFs but he was also a versatile defender. Mchale would sometimes guard 3s which is why his rebounding numbers can be deceiving because he wasn't necessarily a bad rebounder but he would play further away from the basket and guard 3s occasionally while Bird would guard 4s and Bird's rebounding numbers were high. Oscar would dominate Stockton in the starting lineup but I feel like as soon as Frazier comes in off bench, he would end up slowing Oscar down. I think 1987's team is by far the best passing team constructed at least in the starting lineup. I also think that 1987 has a huge advantage in the bench because AlonzoGOAT's bench has two pretty selfish players and career losers in Pistol Pete and Adrian Dantley. If this was a 7 game series which I assume we are talking about, 1987's team would win in 6-7 so it's close.

SuperPippen, this is a tough matchup but I would go with SupPip in 7. I think Shaq would completely dominate that front-court but I don't think he alone could take on the team that Pip has constructed. I believe at the end that Pippen's overall cast was just slightly better at everything else but Shaq's massive advantage makes it close despite of how many more advantages Pippen's team has.

iamgine, this was also a tough matchup and there is no doubt that this series would be low scoring and probably boring, . I just believe that iamgine has more spacing, a little bit better defense, and could play together better.

StateofMind's bigs own Rainintwo's bigs. When Rick Barry is your best perimeter defender, that is a problem. I'd have Clyde start over Richmond. A reserve back of Penny + Rock would be better than Rock + CP3.

7 game series. At the end of the day, I think in the middle will make a difference. Zens' is slightly better. SuperPippen's lack of wings hurt him also.

Still don't like user voting since some have no knowledge of the 60's/70's era, hell maybe 80's
