Hillis is a beast. great hands, huge body, bulldozes his way thru the line and always falls forward. CLE oline is good too but Hillis is a lot better than most people realize. i'd be shocked if that was a fluke especially considering he'll play most plays including 3rd downs due to his hands. he's a better version of alstott.

Last year's #1 and #2 in yards per catch were Mike Wallace and DeSean Jackson.

This year?

#1 Mike Wallace
#2 DeSean Jackson

The Pittsburgh Steelers have 12 total takeaways on the season, 1st in the league. The Ravens have 2 total takeaways, 31st in the league.

One week after saying this:
Quote:
"I've been open on a number of routes, and for whatever reason, there's always been some kind of breakdown with protection, or Carson has to come out of the pocket, or he's rushed. I'm not going to gripe. The most important thing, as I've alluded to here is we're winning. If we were losing, then I would definitely have a lot to say."

Terrell Owens is now 2nd among WR's in total targets, 9 more than Chad Ochocinco.

Ndamukong Suh's influence (all stats are among DT's):

Tied for 1st in sacks (3)
Tied for 1st in QB hits (5)
Tied for 2nd in tackles for loss (4)

The Chargers have 3 total punt/kickoff return TD's this year. 23 teams still don't have one of either.

The Bengals are 5 for 5 on their 4th down conversions this season. Opponents have went for the first down on 4th down 7 times this year vs. the Redskins, and converted 6 of them.

The Colts pass the ball on 76% of their 1st down plays. The only team that runs more on 1st down than passes is Pittsburgh, running on 55% of their 1st down plays.

Teams are now 5-14 this season when their QB passes for more that 340+ yards.

Teams are now 10-21 when their QB passes 40+ times in a game.

Teams are 27-11 when they have a feature back run 20+ times in a game.

Romo is top 5 in passing yards...

he has already had a BYE...

I suppose that can be seen as a bad thing, but at this rate he just might break the record...

Someone should send this to Norv.

Better start giving Mathews more carries. 9 isn't enough. Not even close.

how is this for a crazy stat...

Dallas, yesterday, became the first team in NFL history to have a 400+ yard passer (Romo) and a 100+ yard runner (Felix) and STILL LOSE THE GAME!

wtf...

The Buccaneers have a league-low 17 penalties. The Packers had 18 (EIGHTEEN!!!!) in one game already.

I think the Steelers had something like 11 against the Ravens. One of the main reasons we lost.

Has there every been a game where a team didn't have their Starting qb, rb, and #1 receiving threat?

- Osi Umenyiora has 7 forced fumbles in 6 games this year. No one has had more than 7 forced fumbles in a season since '07 (8).

- The 3 most efficient quarterbacks in the red zone this season: Kolb, Romo, and Rodgers in that order. If Kolb isn't eligible because of games played then Brady takes one of the spots. Yes, for those who have played all games this year...Romo is the most efficient red zone QB. I love that team...keep finding ways to lose!

- DeMarcus Ware and Trent Cole are tied for the league lead in "tackles for loss", Cole having played 1 more game.
