Default "Who's Now" in the NBA?

I'm sure everyone's seen the "Who's Now" that they're having on ESPN for the most accomplished athletes on and off the field/court. What if they did it solely for NBA players.

ESPN seems to be defining their definition of "Now" on accomplishments in their individual sport, endorsement deals, and awards given by third parties (ex. Wade named People Magazine's top 50 sexiest males).

So who in basketball would you guys think is more now?

LeBron is easily the most now. Not only has he been crowned "King" James, he's the new face of the NBA and unlike many superstars, his team is successful also.

You apparently dont, but some do and would like to converse about it.

I say Lebron's by far the most now in the NBA, but I think Oden's kooky personality will catch on with a lot of fans and will be used big time for marketing purposes.

Kinda like Adam Morrison with some staying power.

No one...Lebron has been crowned King by ESPN and the media...but the people dont enjoy watchin him more then the other superstars...

Maybe you should consider what player sells out the most other teams arenas...

or what player gets the most ratings????

If the U.S. didn't vote in such disproportionate numbers compared to to the rest of the world, then these would have been different seeing as how Americans favor basketball much more over Soccer or Tennis.

I thought Federer had a seed that was a bit too high anyways... but Tony Parker?

Ronaldinho should have beaten Kobe internationally...but im not sure if this was a US or international thing...

And in the US...tony parker is more popular and now then Roger Federer....its just true....

Federer is much better at his sport, but people care more about Tony parker and his Eva then Federe and his tennis

Exactly. This is as much a competition between sports as it is between individuals. I rember when Jeff Gordon had his first-round matchup against I forget who, the ESPN analysts on Sports Center eventually came down to comparing the impact of NASCAR vs. which ever sport was in question.
