Default I'm gonna get a Triumph Scrambler

The majority of my friends are into riding.
After I come back from my wedding anniversary my wife said she'd put down as an anniversary gift.
I love the style and the size. I not a huge guy so this fits me snug. I also like to sit back on my bike. I'm also a retro type guy.
Anybody got a Triumph that they can share their reviews?

cool looking bike. A little hipster-ish though.

better that a harley, no doubt. I wouldn't mind having one. I was considering a bonneville t100 a while back as a second bike.

As I understand it, Triumphs have made massive strides towards being closer to the Japanese in terms of reliability, but some models are hit and miss. (I read something recently about the newer Triumph Tigers having tons of problems).

Be sure to get some good gear as well. Don't be that guy in a beater and sandals with no helmet who goes down

Harley Sportsters are a little out of my rage and those would be the ones I would be more interested in. My buddy has a soft tail and I just don't feel comfortable sitting in it.
I like the retro look of the Scramble to and how the tail pipe is higher up.

I'd rather have a Ducati Monster, but that's just me.

It's definitely a bad-ass and unique bike. You don't see too many triumphs around.

I'm also over crotch-rockets myself, they suck riding around town in them.

Man do I want one of these...

A little out of my price range as well. My buddy has that one too. People think he's pretentious because he's a novice rider with such a high end bike

Are you 5'8" or below? Then pretty solid aslong as you don't want to go fast.

You guys who want a Bonny look into Kawa Ws, they are more reliable and as beautiful.

    Yeah I'm around that height.
I like it because of it's off road capabilities as well. The price range is also a big factor for this purchase as it's an anniversary gift from my wife.
