Devin Harris caught Blake Griffin pretty good. He can admit it, having seen the replay in the locker room following his ejection in the second quarter of a 110-96 victory over the Clippers. The flagrant-2 foul, which could lead to a suspension depending on the league’s review, wasn’t so malicious as it was clumsy. Harris wrapped his arms around Griffin’s neck as the rookie went up for a lay-up, similar to the flagrant-2 foul that Harris picked up last season against Jamario Moon (see below). Here’s how Harris described last night’s foul: I was kind of looking up at the ball. When I saw I couldn’t get it I just tried to make sure he didn’t get his arms up but the way he was leaning back I got caught up on his neck and you saw the way he fell. … I saw the replay and it was pretty bad. It was probably the right call. NY Daily News Blog
