Is bacon the new cheese?

Remember how cheese was back in the day, well bacon has took its place? Cheese used to go on everything; burgers, sammiches, broccoli, freakin grits. Now bacon has taken it's place.

I don't even think cheese is extra at burger joints anymore, it like comes with the hamburger now. You actually have to tell them "no cheese."

I've eaten bacon maybe 20 times in my 24 years of life. Not a fan. Only time I will eat it is if I'm really hungry in the morning and someone is making breakfast for me and bacon is on the plate. I'd be upset it wasn't sausage or ham instead though.

i hate it when they come out with a new burger, triple stacked meat pattys and cheese and they add bacon .

i too don't like bacon that much. especially when it's greasy and floppy, like most restaurants who put it on food recently make it. it's not "ew" but i usually don't eat it.

bacon's a good add-on for food services because it tastes good and people like getting more meat, and its cheap as hell to make. They get everyone to pay an extra 35 cents to tack on a couple strips of bacon and that adds up quickfast

cheese is more versatile. you don't have to cook it either which helps.

i dont like it in my burger. cheese yes, gherkins(read pickles) yes, relish(not ketchup or mayo) yes.

not liking bacon unless you are a vegetarian is strange . choosing not to have it for health purposes is one thing but not liking it is just surprising


I can really understand not liking it on a burger , in some cases the bacon
can make the burger feel dry and take away from the taste of the burger patty .but of course when done right its awesome
