African 7 footers came to the US for medical degrees, picked up basketballs for the first time in college and went to the NBA. While it takes a lot of experience to be an adept offensive player, playing defense is actually pretty simple.

I'm sure a huge, muscular guy who has never played football could be a decent lineman. Or how hard is it for a fast and strong guy to be a running back? This is one of the simplest sports. Half of the experience needed is from weight training.

Like MB before me, the answer is probably golf. From personal experience, I'd also say that soccer is a game that requires a lot of time and dedication to excel at. Crossing, shooting, dribbling, control, etc. Soccer is the only sport that fixates on using the legs, which adds to the difficulty.
