NBA.com's stats show that over 80% of the league's 3-pointers are taken with 4+ feet of room, compared to only 30% of 2-pointers.

In Steph Curry's case, 70% of his threes are taken with 4+ feet of room - specifically, he attempted 11.3 threes per game this season, of which 5.2 of them were "open" (4-6 feet of room), and 2.7 were "very open" (6+ feet), per NBA.com's stats:

Watching the same teams beat up on weak competition year after year is predictable and uninteresting, its funny how one of the main criticisms of LeBron directly applies to Jordan, delusional fanboys!

What gets lost in all this, is that Curry is one of the most accurate finishers in the paint. I believe he led all guards in efficiency there. The guy has a variety of floaters/bankers/push shots.

If you think all he does is shoot threes, you just don't watch him play, it's that simple.

Jordan had higher per possession efficiency due to higher midrange efficiency, and far less turnovers.

Jordan's higher efficiency is remarkable considering he carried a bigger load: he produced a higher proportion of his team's points and assists with far less turnovers, while also carrying a bigger load on defense.

Jordan was superior on both ends, even though Curry's teammates spaced the floor for him, and Jordan's didn't - Jordan's Bulls only attempted 5 threes per game in 1991, compared to 25 per game for today's teams (30 per game for the Warriors and Cavs).. Accordingly, his stats would explode in today's spaced-out game.
