Default As Knicks fans, are we hoping for too much?

I wonder if we are hoping for too much out of this upcoming season. That maybe our hopes are too high. Playoffs? Will the Knicks even win 35 games? I was very hopeful at the beginning of the month but now reality is siniking in, AGAIN.

Don't get me wrong, I am hoping for the best. But are we hoping for too much?

I really think we're hoping for too much. It's like deja vu after watching the game against the Nets. I don't know what to expect anymore. I don't want to get my hopes up high like last season just to be let down. They should no pride after that humiliation against the Celtics.

I just find it interesting that these are the Knicks division rivals that are taking it to them.

Is this just a season preview, or a sign of thngd to come?

reaching the playoffs a stretch? nope. but in my opinion if they do make it, it will be in a position that is no higher than 6th place.

You don't think the Knicks should play defense in preseason?

Or at least get your fundamentals down?

Here is one...... get more assists than turnovers.

Preseason sole purpose is to prep for the regular season.

Building chemistry, fine tuning, obtaining a set rotation.

Don't really wanna here about injuries since the Knicks are so "deep" in talent.

It also give guys a chance to latch on to teams that may not have a shot during the regular season.

If you believe preseason has no meaning you are sadly mistaken.

YES!!!

After seeing both preseason games -- I am very disappointed with the Knicks. A 40-point loss to the Celtics and a 16-point deficit to the Kidd-less Nets.

Last season, the Knicks did not play much D , but they could score.

This season they have trouble playing on offence and on defence.

Now, the guards are not moving the ball well and the Knicks look like they will be a lottery team.

What do you think?
